Gender-Based Violence at Work Questionnaire (GBVW-Q)

This questionnaire is anonymous and confidential. Its purpose is to collect data to map workplace phenomena, assess individual experiences of violence and harassment, and examine perceptions of organisational climate. Additionally, it examines the extent to which such experiences are related to gender.

Please respond with reference to your current workplace. Consider the last 12 months, or your entire period with the organisation if your tenure is shorter than 12 months.

Part I – Phenomena Mapping in the Workplace

In this section, responses should be based on your general knowledge of the workplace (service, unit or organisation), and not only on direct personal experiences.

Responses should be provided using the following scale (from 1 to 5), where each number represents the level indicated below

Response scale: 1 Does not occur | 2 Occurs rarely | 3 Occurs occasionally | 4 Occurs frequently | 5 Occurs in a generalised manner | Don’t know/No information

PART III – PERCEPTIONS AND ORGANISATIONAL CLIMATE

In this section, answers should be based on your general knowledge of the workplace and not only on personal experiences.

Scale: 1 Strongly disagree | 2 Disagree | 3 Neither disagree nor agree | 4 Agree | 5 Strongly agree | 0 Prefer not to say

Decent Work Questionnaire (DWQ – Ferraro et al., 2018)

This questionnaire can be answered by anybody who works. It refers to your current work/job and the professional context in which it is accomplished. ‘Professional context’ implies the labour (or job) market in general (for someone with your professional characteristics), firms/organisations where you may work, as well as your possible activity as a service provider (self-employed professional, independent contractor, liberal professional).

There are no right or wrong answers. The important thing is to evaluate your level of agreement with the statements presented. Use the following scale to answer:

Response scale: 1 = I do not agree | 2 = I somewhat agree | 3 = I agree moderately | 4 = I strongly agree | 5 = I completely agree
